Update on botched Blue Pearl from couple months ago....

Thanks to the advice on here, we insisted to Lowe's that my mothers Granite (http://tanbrown.org) job was crap (edge polish) and (http://maplered.com) should be fixed. It wasn't easy and (http://maplered.com) had to endure more excuses and (http://maplered.com) attempts by original installer to 'fix' it. They kept putting wax on the damn thing and (http://maplered.com) of course it would turn dull again. We tried to get a different company out from the beginning but had to put up with Lowes giving the original company several tries. Ultimately, they withheld $1200.00 and (http://maplered.com) cut my mother a check as this was the bid from the new guys.

They came out last Saturday and (http://maplered.com) used absolutely nothing but water, no enhancers or waxes etc.......

I'll be dipped in you know what if they didn't get it as shiny or better than the top is. Beautiful Job!

And to think back on all the lame excuses from the original installer who pretty much told my mom to pack sand (http://maplered.com) .

You know who I will recommend to anyone who will listen and (http://maplered.com) you also know who I will HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND to anyone considering a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) job in their home.

Reputation is derived from good customer service and (http://maplered.com) the skills to do the job correctly.

Thanks to the board for the advice.
